Fuleadture Headphones Unboxing and Review

I have been using these fuleadture headphones and while the sound quality is good, the noise isolation aspect seems to mostly just come out of the fact that it blocks out external noise rather than having any active noise cancelling as they may suggest, this perhaps comes via noise reduction of audio coming from the computer to clear up any distorted audio rather than active noise cancelling of irritating noises around you as it offered little to block out my heavy fan noise on my old computer, which was a primary reason for purchase of a noise cancelling headphone.

I would suggest that these also seem to be designed for a child or someone with a smaller head than me as although they offer resizing the actual ears are pushed in to such a degree no matter how you resize that it puts too much pressure on the headband that it inevitably snaps destroying the headphones, and the material for the band used seems to be 3D printed so it’s a flimsy and weak substance that snaps way too easily. This is probably the main downside as the quality and life of the headphones depends entirely upon whether you have a small head and won’t strain out the headphones headband, the other downside is that if you want to have active noise cancelling you’re better off looking elsewhere, and while these seem a bargain for active noise cancelling this is completely misleading as they seem to have no noise cancelling technologies at all, or at best they probably misunderstood the term.

When these broke within the first few weeks of use I was very disappointed and they did send a replacement product so the 1 year warranty was valid, and I did continue using the broken set to utter destruction, and then the replacement headphones also snapped in the same place within a month also but I’ve only just started using the replacement, and claimed my warranty early before perhaps newer models were released, passing on my feedback about the flaws with the product to the manufacturer.

True active noise cancelling detects the noise around you and emits a counter noise that makes it so that in your ears you don’t hear that noise around you, and I’ve used a few different noise cancelling headphones at shows such as the gadget show, often they have a button on them that activates and deactivates the technology but you can tell distinctly when it’s active, especially if you hold them slightly off your ear, and I can confirm that these headphones do not have any active noise cancelling, this doesn’t mean that there isn’t passive noise cancelling with the thickness of the padding, but this states to have active noise cancelling which is incorrect.

I will state that at time of creating the video and my purchase this was the case, however looking at the amazon page for the most recent version of the product they seem to have resolved the problems that I had with my purchase, the headband is fully coated in what looks like a more durable and flexible material so fitting to different size heads may result in the product not breaking and being more durable which is my major complaint on the quality, so this seems to have been resolved, also despite my purchase claiming to have “active noise cancelling” and lacking it, the product shown on amazon as the latest version of the product in fact has an active noise cancelling button on the product and seem to actually incorporate correct noise cancelling technology so may in fact be what I was expecting previously but didn’t receive in the product I purchased.

I would suggest that feedback I made on my purchase has been taken into account and the products they are creating have resolved the complaints I had with the product, but without being able to test out a more recent version I couldn’t say for sure and I am a little pessimistic on making a purchase with how easily these broke through use with my head size, but by looks alone the product does look a lot more durable and that it now offers true active noise cancellation rather than in line cancellation of noises from the pc calling that active noise cancelling.

Feel free to make up your own mind and check out the latest product below.
